NETWORKING FOR WOMEN@NCSBI Networking for Women provides a network of support for women interested in government contracting and technology expertise. The goal of the network is to guide and support women in building relationships and advancing their careers. Networking for Women is proudly sponsored by the National Center for Small Business Information at Florida Institute of Technology in collaboration with the Florida Small Business Development Center at Brevard Community College. Through monthly meetings and forums, self-promotion and networking opportunities are made available and, more importantly, encouraged. The themes will be government contracting and issues that deal with today’s complex technologies. These get-togethers will provide networking mechanisms for women-owned small businesses and individuals to build government contracting expertise and enhance skills, gain expertise, and redefine career goals. By joining Networking for Women, you instantly become part of an environment supportive of both personal and professional goals. The group will meet the second Monday of every month from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm on the Florida Institute of Technology campus. Please see the schedule for exact location. It is requested (but not required) that you RSVP if you are planning to attend. Your can RSVP by sending email to ncsbi@fit.edu or by calling (321) 674-7011. The National Center for Small Business Information at Florida Institute of Technology serves both small businesses and individuals. Our main objective is building personal and professional expertise in government contracting and related business software. The FSBDC at Brevard Community College assists entrepreneurs through counseling, seminars, and workshops; promotes economic development by responding to the needs of small businesses in Brevard County; and provides business professionals an opportunity to contribute to the community through volunteering as a consultant to business owners.
